Last week, approximately 40 workers at COBRA Source, Inc. voted overwhelmingly to join OPEIU.
They grew tired of relying on their boss to fix the problems at COBRA Source, organized themselves, and won their right to bargain their wages, hours and working conditions!!
The workers are in the process of electing their bargaining committee preparing proposals, and hope to begin negotiations soon.
All of us at OPEIU Midwest United Local 2009 congratulate the workers of COBRA Source, and welcome our new brothers and sisters to the House of Labor!
