Local 39 has scheduled a Unit Meeting for CUNA Mutual Group represented members in Good Standing for Wednesday November 2, 2011 at 5:30.  This meeting will be to explain the Tentative Agreement and answer your questions.  The meeting will be held at Schwoegler’s Entertainment Center, 444 Grand Canyon Drive, Madison, Wisconsin.

The Tentative Agreement includes the following:

All Articles remain the same as the 2008 – 2012 agreement unless noted below.

Article V – Holidays

*=Business Holidays.  In order to provide full business coverage on business holidays (noted in the chart above with an *) the Company may require up to 7% of the Employee group to work on holidays when the New York Stock Exchange is open.

Article XVII - Wages

  • All Bargaining Unit Employees covered by this Agreement, who were employed prior to March 31, 2012, shall receive an increase in base salary, effective with the payroll period closest to April 1, 2012, in the amount of three percent (3%).
  • The Pay Schedules set forth in Exhibits A, B, C, D and E shall reflect a one percent (1%) increase.

Article XXVIII – Term of Agreement

  • Effective April 1, 2012 and shall remain in full force and effect until midnight, March 31, 2013.

Voting

We will conduct a vote at the Union Office, 437 S. Yellowstone Drive, Room 112 on the Tentative Agreement at the following dates and times (Photo ID Required)

Tuesday November 8th
7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday November 9th
7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
 

Absentee Voting:  Begins Thursday November 3 at the Union Office.
Absentee voting is intended for those employees not scheduled to be at work on the official voting day, or on a LOA, and have received a mail ballot.  If you will not be at work on the official voting days you can vote “absentee” on the following days:  Nov. 3rd, & 7th at the Union Office. 437 S. Yellowstone Dr. Room #112, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Photo ID required).
 

Leave of Absence employees:
Local 39 will mail a separate communication and ballot to all LOA employees (Including LOA employees on an intermittent leave).  LOA employees will have the choice to return the ballot via mail, *fax or vote at the Union Office on any of the above dates and times.  If you *fax or mail the ballot, it must be received no later than Wednesday November 9th.
 

The voting will end at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 9th.  We will begin counting ballots shortly after 5:00 p.m. 
 

Who is eligible to vote?  Eligible voters include employees that have passed their newly hired 120 day probationary period and Members in “Good Standing”.
 

If you are a resigned or suspended member, you are not a member in Good Standing, therefore you a not eligible to attend union meetings or vote.  If you would like to receive information on how to become a member in Good Standing please contact the Union office at (608) 257-4734.
 

If you are currently working within your newly hired 120 day probationary period you are not eligible to vote.  If you are unsure of your status, please contact your manager to receive confirmation.
